My 'classic' designs which I created when I first started my business back in July 2020. All of these are placement prints which were designed to be printed onto fabric 0.5m x 0.5m and mainly used for homeware products.

From 3 of my best selling 'Classic' designs I decided to create 3 new sets of graphics that could be used on t-shirts. My aim was to capture what my customers loved about my Hippie, Floral and Sun&Moon designs to create some fun t-shirts that appeal to a wide audience.
These are two designs for my S/S 22 clothing collection, Retro Bloom. Both of these designs take inspiration from the 70s hippie flower power movement but have been combined with a more contemporary colour way to meet the trends of the season. Both designs are repeat patterns with the initial print tiles being designed on procreate before I then created the repeat and refined the print in Adobe Photoshop.

A collection of prints designed for my clothing collections; the top line of designs are from my A/W21 Wild Abstraction collection and the bottom designs are from my S/S21 collection Summer Love. For both of these collections I designed a mixture of repeat prints for garments that contained a lot of fabric such as my maxi and mini dresses and placement prints for garments such as t-shirts and tops.

CHOSEN BY YOU COLLECTION
As my print challenge (see selection below) was so popular in 2021 I decided to do it again in 2022. This time I asked my followers for more detailed themes in order to allow me to develop my skills when it comes to meeting set briefs. Having worked on my print style for over 2 years I also wanted to try and add more detail into my work adding more of a painted effect to elements within the design. All of these prints were designed as repeats as I found that all over prints translate better when printed on fabric that is going to be used for homeware pieces. These are some of my favourite prints I have designed, particularly the Japanese and Jungle designs, as I feel I have really managed to elevate my work creating detailed and intricate designs that show the progression of my creative skills but also still feel very true to my brand.

PRINT CHALLENGE
In February 2021 I decided to launch a print challenge on my ByLouMoffat Instagram and Facebook accounts where I asked my followers for a range of themes they would like to see me create prints for. The aim of this challenge was to design a range of prints that pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to think creatively to create prints that met the theme but also suited my brand identity.
